Anxiety has a way of making the future feel like a place you can never quite get ahead of. Maybe your thoughts loop late at night, or your chest tightens before meetings, conversations, or the school drop-off line. Maybe what once felt manageable now takes more energy than you feel it should. We want you to know this: an anxious mind is not a broken mind. It is often a thoughtful, caring, hard-working mind that has been asked to carry more than it was built to carry alone — and you are taking a brave step by reaching out.
In sessions, we walk alongside you as you begin to understand what your anxiety is doing, where it tends to show up, and what it might be trying to protect you from. Together we look at thought patterns, the body’s stress response, sleep, relationships, past experiences, and the daily habits that either steady or stir you up. Common areas we work with include:
- generalized worry and overthinking
- panic attacks and physical symptoms (racing heart, chest tightness, shortness of breath)
- social anxiety and performance fears
- health anxiety
- perfectionism and people-pleasing
- anxiety connected to trauma or major life change
- parenting and relationship anxiety
- anxiety in children and teens
You do not have to carry it alone, and you do not have to figure it out before you reach out. We would be happy to walk through it with you. Step by step, you and your counselor will build practical tools, deeper understanding, and a calmer, steadier way of being in your own life.
